I wondered if anyone knows the uk law about id tagging, what i have read is that your dog ust wear a tag which has the name and address of the owner on it.
I can't seem to fit my name and address on the tags i have seen. The one i have at the moment has my name and post code on it, is this still ok? Any suggestions?

harry's tag has his name on it and our phone number, harry is also microchipped.

I get my tags from these guys, they're great quality and you can get engraving on both sides.

Here's the Uk law from the DEFRA website. You need name and address though I'd strongly suggest phone number and including your country too just in case your dog ever was lost in a foreign country while on holiday.
ALL DOGS MUST WEAR A COLLAR AND CLEARLY-DISPLAYED TAG
The tag must bear the name and address of the dog's owner.

These are really nice tags from a new UK company -- I've seen these at the Irish dog shows too; they are very cute:

My local pet shop does tags, I have small round discs which have bascially the following:

Thank you for that info, i have got henry 2 of those smartie tags, a red and a purple one. Really cute! :)
