Sweet little rescue girl

I just went and collected one of the cutest cavaliers I have ever seen -- a little tricolour who is about 2 but looks like a puppy still. She's about the size of Lily and her face is like a little teddy bear.

She's very shy til she gets to know a situation -- God love her until a couple of weeks ago when she was rescued she was living in a small shed at all times and clearly used for breeding. :( She has that very cautious look and demeanour of puppy farm dogs -- and isn't fully housetrained as she has only just now learned about living in a house.

She climbed onto my lap in the car while we waited for Brid to get home from her job -- now she's with Auntie Brid for the night til she goes to her new home tomorrow morning. :) These are the little ones you feel especially happy to have gotten into rescue.

It amazes me how they still have so much cavalier personality even when they have hardly been socialised and mistreated like this.

that's such a cute story Karlin.. It's great that Brid is so nice and flexible. What a blessing she is. :)

Now, we wanna see some pictures of this little princess!!!

Karlin, please have Santa tuck her into my stocking for Christmas! Seriously, a big thank you to you, Brid and everyone else who helps these sweet dogs!

You hit the nail right on the head with those words Karlin....
Cavaliers are Cavaliers to the bones and back...such remarkable little dogs. :lotsaluv:

Alison, Wilts, U.K.

That's something that always amazes me too - how they never lose their cavalier personality and still wag their tails at humans - completely amazing when you think how badly some have been treated :(

Yes she is a dear. Just wants to be picked up to sleep beside me. Phoebe not remotely jealous (am so proud)!!
She's just walked , peed and pooped!!

Aw Bríd! would you kiss that little nose for me... she's beautiful :l*v:
and big sloppy kisses to you Phoebes for being such a hospitable young lady (y)

:flwr: :flwr:

What a sweetie! Hugs to you and your family Brid for giving this cutie a safe place to land while she waits for her home.

She is beautiful, how can people hurt dogs who are as sweet and gentle as Cavaliers? It boggles my mind :(

Still the good news is that she is now safe and ready to go to her new home and be loved properly... :lotsaluv:

What an adorable baby girl!!! Hope she find a loving, forever home soon!
Bless you Karlin, for rescuing her, and Brid, for caring for her until she finds her forever family. :flwr:

Awww holy moly, she is the sweetest thing ever!! If I lived nearby I would have to give her a smooch!!!

Here';s a pic I took of her -- she has a funny cowlick on the top of her head:

She has gone to live in a huge old very posh house. Quite a step up from a shed. :)

Here's to a happy future for her :flwr:

Cody has the same cowlick, i'm forever trying to flatten it

Oh Karlin, she's beautiful, she really is :lotsaluv:

A little punky Cavalier like Maxx with her sticky up hair

Let's hope she's treated like the royal little angel she is in her new home :xfngr: :lotsaluv:

What a sweetie pie - bless her she looks so tiny.

I hope she is settling well into wonderful new home...goodness she won't know herself going from shed to mansion!!
