I'm delighted to say that, subject to home-check, Charlie has found a lovely new home. :)
Many of you will remember Charlie (he was previously called Max) was a poundie on death row in Ireland.
Charlie is a Cavi/Springer cross and is a beauty. His foster mum has worked wonders with him, as he didn't have a good start to life at all, and he brought some baggage with him.
Many thanks to everyone at Cavalier Talk for their very kind contributions to NESSR to help pay for Charlie's transport. Also thanks to everyone else on this board who helped in so many ways.
I'm in tears here. So very many people helped Charlie to safety and it looks like there's a happen end to his story.
It was NESSR's first rescue from Ireland and we have learned some valuable lessons. We are sure Charlie won't be our last Irish rescue, as we will always help a spaniel (in fact other dogs too!) in dire need.
