View Full Version : Not sure if this is the right place to post-
18th February 2007, 03:21 AM
I read on another post someone giving some items away just for postage, and someone responding saying NESSR wanted 1 for a rescue they have.
I was just wondering, do any of the resuce group except donations of items? Beds, blankets, toys etc. All in good condition.
I know I could get a good amount of things to donate, so I guess im asking if anyone knows if anyone would be interested?
Let me know, thanks.

Estee, we've donated good premium food that Lucky and Razz could not eat (allergies and tummy issues) to the local pet charity that does adoptions at our local petco. Not Cavalier specific, but they were thrilled to have it. I think almost any rescue group would be. :flwr:

Most rescues, shelters and pounds will welcome such donations. :) Especially independent rescues that are self-funded or only get small grants. They go quickly through things like duvets, blankets, beds... and remember many dogs come in without collars etc. So most will gratefully take all sorts of donations -- old dogs toys your dogs don't play with, old beds, etc.
Give them a call and ask and they will let you know!

Estee -- here's info on shelters in NYC that welcome such donations:
You will note there are links to the shelter websites with a wish list of items, in many cases.
