So funny that you say that because after I visited the Ruby thread on this forum I started to think OMG! do I like the Rubys better???

It was your little Darby and BarbMazz's Clancy that made me think I might want a Ruby! :sl*p:

Darby said Thank you, as I am sure Barbmazz's Clancy will say the same. :dogwlk:

They definetely are very very sweet, they don't appear to have any white on them at all. :l*v:

I am in love again, I waited so long for Darby that everytime I see Ruby Puppies I get that feeling all over again. Darby is coming up for a year old and myself and so many on this board remember the day on his birth you would of thought I won the lottery. Which owning him feels like, he has a wonderful personality. :lotsaluv:

Your little bleinham girl is gorgeous, I started with a bleinham too.
:D :D :D :D :D

Exactly, this is what Alice my breeder just wrote back when I asked if they were Ruby...."Yup.....as red as red can be....not one white hair between the two of them. Just how I like it":-)

Your dogs are stunning, I would have 12 dogs if I could!

Does "Alice" (your dogs breeder) live in Michigan?

Bronte
14th March 2007, 08:21 PM
Yes, she does...she is wonderful!

She was hand picked for me by Diane Zdrodowski of EvanLake Cavaliers and has an amazing reputation.

She is a member in good standing with the EKC (English Kennel Club), CKCSCUSA (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Club USA) and AKC (American Kennel Club). Our Cavaliers are dual registered with both CKCSC and AKC and they show their Cavaliers in both venues.

Please let me know if you would like her info, I'd be happy to give it to you.

I saw the black and tan (very nice)--- you said she was Alice and I put two and two together and thought that must be Alice Dunn. Alice is a top notch rescuer of cavaliers, breeder and person. I met Diane for the first time last month. Another wonderful breeder.

Bronte, Clancy says THANK YOU

I think ANY Cavalier is just right! The color doesn't matter too much! icon_whistling I would say go with your intuition when choosing which pup you would like. (hint, hint you'll love ANY one you decide to bring home!!!)

Alice Dunn is exactly right...a wonderful person and she just loves Cavaliers as a breed and you can really tell in everything she does.

Linda you are too funny!

Here is the info on the sire of the 2 Ruby puppies I posted:
The current #1 Ruby in the country...CH. Companards Mr Sweden At Vesta. Two weekends ago he beat Rocky, who won BOB at Westminster this year, two days out of four. These should be gorgeous little girls!

Both little girls!

Here is Dad...all I can say is WOW!

Honestly the day that Darby was born, I could not sit still I was jumping out of my chair I was loosing my mind. He was the only ruby in the litter and after waiting two years I was so excited. I couldn't sleep/eat until I heard from my breeder and then the wait began. But hey Jan had fun, she really could do it again right Jan. ;) ;) ;)

I can just imagine how gorgeous these babies are going to be. :D :D :D :D

So are both those puppies females. ?????

Do you have a picture of the Sire. ?????
I bet he is gorgeous. :D :D :D

Emil (Campanards Mr Sweden at Vesta) is one of the most beautiful Rubies I've ever seen. If the dam is who I think she is-- she may be a turretbank sampson daughter (I may be wrong).

He makes very very cute puppies too. I have a friend with one of his sons, Chili is almost as cute as Teddy...and he has the same type of personality.

The pups are goreous! I think I would have to get one if I were you. We had Fergus first and decided we eventually wanted a ruby as well. Our breeder rang up one day and said we've just had a litter and there's one ruby. So we go to "just look" at the ruby. 9 weeks later and Cooper is running around our house. They are so hard to resist. And those 2 pups look really red for such young pups. They're going to be beautiful girls.

Your exactly right!
Their grandsire is CH. Turretbank Samson, an extraordinary Ruby boy. He is Lyla's sire.

Yes both puppies are females. :flwr:

I have the funny feeling that those pups are probably spoken for. I know Alice too, her Pharis is my mona's father , he sired Nina's litter. She's just wonderful.

That pic of mom and the pups is so cute! She looks like she is proud of them. :) The puppies always are so funny at that 'hamster' stage with tiny ears and huge squashed noses. I love how they gradually change.

Because of the heritage thread made today I dug out Kodee's papers - Turretbank Samson is also Kodee's Grandfather. This is all new to me but I gather that is a good thing?

Everyone needs a ruby, don't they? ;) And a blenheim of course... :D

Bronte -
After reading this thread I realized that my little ruby,Teddy, is most likely in some way related to the new puppies in your posting. His mother is Campanards Wilma from Sweden!

If they have anything like the personality of Teddy I would get both of them!!!

Ruby here. I really want another Ruby sister. Would your breeder be willing to help me out. I've got to work fast, because Sydney is working to find another tricolor sister or brother.

Ruby here,

I guess Sydney and I are just a little partial to our own colors, I just love the picture of my little ruby cousins. But you're right, we need a complete cross section of Cavaliers to keep Sydney and I on our toes. You'll be pleased to know that my Dad wants a Black and Tan as well as a Blenheim to round out our family but Mom is slightly hesitant. She says I get heavy when we have to be carried and if we have four she doesn't know if she can handle two while Dad handles the other two. But Dad is pretty persuasive, so when he brings the subject up and tries to convince Mom we need two more, we help him out by sitting at his feet and looking up at her with those big brown eyes hoping that she cannot refuse the Cavalier stare. Wish us luck and keep posting those cute pictures. Oh, yeah and keep forwading to us the names and addresses of good breeders so we can leave them on Mom's pillow at night. It's funny because she thinks Dad is doing it. HEE HEE!

Bark On!

Ruby and Sydney in Virginia :paw:
