Well, I can tell you *everyone* on the board will have a cavalier related to yours because they are all related at some point -- would be very hard for them not to be, as they all go back to 6 British dogs. :)

In direct relation, my boys would have some Choya (including Double Scotch) and Homerbrent and Salador in the not too distant past.

I have a 10 generation pedigree for Jaspar and just about every familiar English and Irish kennel name of that time period is in there somewhere once you go back that far. :lol: EG Pargeter, Crisdig, Homeranne, Tnegun, Alansmere, Ottermouth, Chantiz, Ttiweh, Kindrum, Amantra, Glencross, Bacchante, etc

WOW! Merlinsmum, I can't believe it....Maxwell's gr gr grandmother is named 'Choya Dream on' and her mother is named 'Choya Dreaming is Free'...could it be from the same family with your "Choya my kind of Fella (Gr, grandparent)"?? I truly know little to nothing about pedigrees.

It says on his pedigree papers that Maxwell's father came from Roscommon, Ireland. Maxwell's mom came from Hungary.

The name of the dog sounded familiar-- so I did a little research. I did a pedigree search on what I thought was an offspring. Ta da--lol I really like looking through pedigrees. I am not very familiar with certain lines or wholecolors.

Both of mine are fairly closely related to yours in terms of generations, Kirsty- no real surprise given all four are wholecolours!

It was more of a surprise to see relatively recent ancestors in common with Dylan, but then the common ancestors are Salador Celtic Magic and the ubiquitous Alberto of Kindrum. Holly has a LOT of Loranka in her pedigree; Amber is mainly Charterwood.
 
We are related my dear! OK our dogs are: Kodee's Great Great Grandfather is the same as one of your's Ch Harana Too Darn Hot (her dad is a ruby.

I also recognized a few other U.S. names on her papers: great, great grandparents Rutherford Elliot of Shagbark, Sheeba Show Special de la Vigie, Rutherford Xavier, Salador Celtic Dirk. Kodee's grandfather's (on her dad's side) is Ch Turretbank Samson and her grandmother Am.Can.Ch Sheryane Rutherford Jamieson.

Cracker's father was Charterwood Mascot, Alberto of Kindrum's son.

Lisa, I've had 2 Charterwood dogs - what are the names in the pedigree?

3 of my current 4 cavs don't have pedigrees, as they are rescues, but Cailean is Dheripark.
