I'm hoping that one of our forum folks in California might know of someone that would be interested in this little girl. She looks adorable (but not too pleased with her current situation)!

I forwarded her information to someone here in rescue. She doesn't look very happy...poor little thing.

Great news. California Cavalier Club rescue pulled her out of the shelter as well as a Blenheim puppy. Both are doing fine!

Oh that is good news! I know they have loooong waiting lists for rescues around there too so bet they will quickly find good homes. Can't believe a puppy ended up there as well -- that is sure rare.

We are seeing soooo many more Cavaliers here it's unreal. Went to the dog park a while back and there was a blenheim female in the park. I've seen maybe 5 Cavaliers at the dog park in the last 4 years. And then as we were leaving a tri male was coming in. Neither owner had any real interest in talking about their dogs

Hey, I'm from Fremont right near San Jose! You're right, there's more Cavaliers here than I thought, two of my teachers have them, and my breeder who used to live hours away just moved to Menlo Park. And there was a story in the paper about a Cav breeder in Milpitas who had a puppy stolen (but got her back :) ).
Can you post the link to the club that took the Cavaliers? Is it BACKSC? I'm trying to get my parents to get a second Cavalier and maybe if I show them an adorable Cavvie in need of a home...

Toby's girl - BACKCSC is Bay Area Club, an affiliate of ACKCSC. The organization that took these two in is www.ackcsc.com (http://www.ackcsc.com) (parent's club). At the top of the page click on rescue and it will take you to their rescue page.
