Hi Guys,
I am sorry it's been a while since I checked in with you all.
I wanted to let you guys know, we've been doing wonderful. Avi and I made a trip back to Washington State in June for 3 weeks and both of the dogs came with us. They flew! They were both amazing though and they had a ball in Washington. They got to run around my mom's property without a leash and that was just heaven for them. Faith got her first taste of goat poop, cow poop, horse poop.. you get the point :grnyuk:
We went to the beach on the Oregon Coast and that was a lot of fun:
Here they are playing with their wubbba. I swear that's been the best toy EVER !! They each took a leg of it and brought it back to me together.. lol
Faith is gigantic now. She's currently 18lbs which is 2 1/2 more lbs than Kosmo
Here she is in her airline bag:
It is made by celltei and was the best bag EVER. I took Kosmo in a sherpa and Faith in that. Everybody in the airport stopped us to see Kos, but Faith was able to slide by incognito which made life a lot more simple.
I had her to the vet the day we left and I was told that she needs to lose a lb! What a fatty!! hehe I love her to death - she's really grown up a lot. She loves Avi more than life itself and she I think will turn into a kid's therapy dog sometime in the future.
As for Kosmo, we're still visiting the same retirement home. Unfortunately, Kosmo suffered a leg injury on June 3rd which was 3 days before our vacation. I took him to the vet who gave him some metcam, told me to take it easy, and call if there were any more problems. We went on Vacation and he seemed to have gotten a bit better. After we got back, however, things started to slide south. I called the vet who advised me to keep him on restriction for 2 weeks and see how it goes and if nothing happens then he needs to be in for x-rays. As of last friday (a week into restriction) I made my appt as I cannot wait any longer. I feel like I am causing him to suffer more than necessary and It's a nightmare guys, really. I'm going in today for X-rays of his leg and hopefully it will be OK, so please cross your fingers for us!
Here are Kos and Faith side by side - it's hard to tell she's only 8 months, huh!
Thanks !
