According to a member of CavaliersUK, on Yahoo, there is a cavalier in the Leconfield pound (Yorkshire).

I am sure NESSR would take the dog if someone will contact them. Do we have anyone up in that area?

Linda Flynn does that area we believe and is a member of the Yahoo group. People are also wondering whether this dog is the one posted lost on Doglost.

Let's hope it's the dog reported missing.

Linda Flynn Cavalier Rescue covers this area and is being contacted.

Great! :) If you get any updates let us know. It would be wonderful if a dog finds its way back to a devastated owner.

all sorted. I found the name of the kennels and rang. the owner said thay have not had a cavalier in the rescue section for some time and he think's the person visiting saw one of the private boarders.

Goes to show a simple call is always the best starting point! There's always an assumption that someone else has already got the info so thanks Barbara for clarifying the situation here. I thought maybe the info had come from the pound's own listings.

The problem was finding the contact, as the warden's site wouldn't download last night. At least there is no little lost soul, locked away.

Yes, that is always very good news! :) I hate it when they are in the pound for days and days... Lily spent a WEEK in the pound before I could get her out. :(
