Pet Umbrella

Last night, I took Molly out for a walk. It was raining/sleeting a bit. I had an umbrella, but of course that really doesn't do Molly too much good. :(

I stopped to chat with a neighbor and by the time we finished, Molly was soaking wet, poor thing! I towelled her off when we got home, and then of course she finished the job off by wiping herself against my bedding. :eek:

So today I came across this item: a pet umbrella! What a great idea!

However, I would feel like such a geek walking around with this thing! LOL Does anyone have one? How well does it work!?

Funny ... I was on the NY Dog shop site last night and saw that too.

I wondered if anyone has tried it and if it makes a difference. I hope someone has and can tell us. :)

I was just thinking that Lexie needed an umbrella since it's the rainy season starting soon. But my husband nixed the idea of the umbrella. It's a great idea though. :)

I have to admit that I find the pet-umbrella a bit silly-looking:oAlso I think it looks a bit annoying to use:D
But since we have many rainy days in Iceland I have bought raincoats(or rather rain-suits,hehe) for my girls.
