If someone in Ireland wants to get involved with rescue here's a great opportunity for a very overburdened rescue person:

Not sure if you need to be a member to read this thread -- I think you do -- but if you have an interest in helping dogs generally it's worth registering anyway. :)

Most areas of the board are closed to non-members but I find it's handy to be a member of most boards for popping in and out and following such links, and because i'm insanely nosey:D

Basically the person doing just about all the rescue at Dundalk pound desperately needs people to help out, anything from tranpsort to taking pictures to admin to fosters.

If anyone is interested I will get them full info if you PM me. :) But it is worth joining the board for anyone interested in general rescue as that's one of the sites where all the pound and urgent rescue cases for all types of Irish dogs are posted.
