hello, just wondering if their barks deepen? as the last 2 days lotties bark has changed, more deeper. at first we thought she had something stuck in her throat, but she is eating and drinking fine, so just wondered about her bark changing as it used to be quite high pitched.

Teddy's hasn't. He still has a high pitched girly bark.

Looking at your avatar - it seems that Lottie is pretty young. By growing older and getting more "volume" doggies barks change. I´m pretty sure my Alsacian hadn´t had this deep deep voice, when he still was a puppy... ;)

Yes they do get deeper. Elja was almost breaking glass she was so highpitched but lately she has started to bark like a normal dog;)

Its seems to also depend on what the bark is aimed at.

Merls has quite a deep bark if he is warning you of something, but if its a "throw the ball" bark he sounds like a monkey!
