View Full Version : BEING VETTED: Neglected female blenheim, 4-5

18th February 2008, 11:20 PM
Coming into rescue with me tomorrow or Wednesday via another Irish rescue. Her coat was so matted they have had to have her trimmed down. :(

I am posting her, but think I have a foster place already sorted. :xfngr:

Can anyone possibly transport this girl between Sallins in Kildare and Dublin? Needs to be done today or tomorrow.

She's in foster -- this is one of the sweetest girls ever! :lotsaluv:

Poor thing is totally shaved down, even her tail, as she was in such bad shape. She is chunky and needs to drop a couple of pounds. She appears to be spayed and is said to be housetrained, very loving with people and loves other dogs. She has a great blenheim spot on her head, too, and huge expressive eyes! Very relaxed girl; she found the dogbeds at Thelly's, and climbed right into one.

I would guess she is somewhere between 3-5 -- as her teeth look good.

Some pics:

Here she is wearing her coat since she has no hair! That's little Lucy to her right.

Here she is with a nice view of her spot!

What a lovely girl!

Her coat will grow believe me, my Lucy was shaved the same due to huge matts etc and now she has her coat again, it's a shame you don't live nearer, she would have fitted in here a treat! and we would have loved to have had her.

She's an incredibly loving dog -- exceptionally sweet nature and deserves a lot better than she has had.
