Recently emailed Furminator Co. b'cuz I had misplaced cover and wanted to purchase another. Not only did they send me another free of charge but along with the cover came a nice hand written note :). Haven't had a hand written note from a company in decades......... Great P.R.

That is what I call great customer service. Does the Furminator just remove dead coat hairs or does it thin it out by cutting the coat?

It seems to take out surplus fine hair out of my b/t's coat. Does nothing to the Blenheim's coat-he really doesn't need much removed ever as his coat is thin but he manages to shed. The Kong ZoomGroom does great for him and he likes the massage.
