View Full Version : HOMED: Ruby male, 18 months

Oscar is a very shy ruby male cavalier who nonetheless enjoys children once he gets to know them. He is housetrained, though he needs some polishing up on this -- he still has the occasional accident. He's an indoor dog nevertheless and has been an indoor dog in an active family. He went into kennels last year and came back ill and thin -- the owners are not sure what happened and his vets, despite some extensive testing, could not determine that anything specific was the problem. He is back up to normal weight but new owners would need to be aware that he did have this odd bout -- though he could well have just been very depressed at being left alone for two weeks or perhaps was exposed to a virus that eventually worked its way through his system.
He will be neutered and chipped before rehoming.

I PMed you info about filling in a homing application for my waiting list.
As this is a younger dog there will likely be some interest from some of those who have been waiting but not all dogs suit all homes and vice versa so I always encourage people to apply and be considered.
I would prefer not to home this dog where there are children under 12 as he is said to be very timid.

Aaah, I hope Oscar gets a lovely home. I love ruby's :luv:, but guess that the poor little fella would be better off in a single dog home!

Actually I think he'd likely be better in with another dog. I've been busy sorting dogs all morning so far so am just beginning to get to him. :)
