There is a4 month old Cavalier pup at Many Tears.
He has bent deformed front legs and has already had one surgery, and wil shortly have another on the other leg.
The costs for surgery etc will exceed £2000. So far £1500 has been raised but obviously they need more.
If you are able to help, please visit

I sent a donation from Canada. I had to do it after I made myself watch the video. Such a darling little pup-and what wonderful work the Many Tears people do. " It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness."
I hope his surgeries help to keep him pain free at the least. The web is a
wonderful thing when good publicity can reach across the world!:luv:

Norris has had good wishes and financial help from far and wide, so God willing, he will be a fine healthy dog one day.
Please pare a thought for Hope Rescue's foster puppy, Zeus, who is a beautiful GSD (possible cross with malamute). He would have had lot's of lovely homes, if it hadn't been for the need to investigate his hips. treatment , so far has come to £400, but the devastating news, this week, is that he will probably need surgery on both hips, at a cost of £6000. The £400 will probably be covered by their presently ongoing auction, but the rest is an enormous sum to contemplate, for such a small organisation. Even worse, the vet says there is no guarantee of success, but as he is young, he will deteriorate quickly.
This is him

Norris is coming along very well after our last heart stopping moment when we thought he had dislocated his shoulder. As you can see from his video he is enjoying his hydrotherapy; a big THANK YOU to Phil at Beechin Cottage, Chester for all his help.
Norris has been having good walks and enjoys whatever mischief he can find. With the two new Bichon pups we are fostering (Poco & Piccalo) he is getting into all sorts of doggie trouble. We were hoping as a big brother he would look after them but he is more likely to lead them astray!
We are hoping with the all clear from Di his vet, his last operation will be done next Thursday. It will then be crate rest and back in the pool for more swimming.
A big thank you to everyone who has donated to the Norris fund to help him live a near normal life. His next operation is going to cost about £800.Too cute to leave out the Bichon pups Poco & Piccalo (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=9w8GcXg4Ys0&feature=user)with Cameo from Norris
