I recently moved and need to get new tags for all my dogs - In the past I've bought some at Walmart that I like, but I really prefer my tags engraved on both sides. I'm not in a huge hurry, as my cell phone number won't be changing right away so they can still get ahold of me if one of my dogs gets loose. Here's my requirements of what I'm hoping to find in a tag, hopefully someone can find a good site for me!

1. Durable - I've bought so many that within 6 months at most couldn't be read!!!
2. Not to expensive - I have 8 dogs and 2 cats here that need new tags, and with the move and Laddie being so sick my budget is a little tight, I don't want to spend more then $7/tag at most
3. Double sided - I really prefer a double sided tag, that way I can put more phone numbers and information on them just in case.

Those are the 3 biggies, can anyone help me find good tags for my furkids without breaking the bank??

I got my tags from www.speedypetproducts.com (http://www.speedypetproducts.com) & they're great! long lasting, inexpensive & cool - they have cartoon ones & lots of differant shapes & colours!

I looked at Jazzy tags, but without them being double sided, they're more then I want to spend.

I like the Speedy tags - Do you order the metal or plastic ones? I like the idea of plastic, I'm just wondering if my dogs would just chew them off....

I order the plastic ones & they've never chewed them off - they're very strong plastic it seems! They come with an 'S' thing to put on the collar but I never can work that out so I put a split ring on them. I'm waiting for Sparky's tag to arrive now!

Ya, I always prefer the split rings, but only because my dogs have so many different collars LOL S-hooks are to hard to move tags from collar to collar!

Lia's is from www.petpamper.com.au/. They ship to the US and the price is 12,92 USD including shipping.
You can design your tags.
Luck!

Boomerang plastic tags are my favorite. They're very durable, double-sided and inexspensive--shipping is very fast, too.

I'm nervious about those printed ones - How long to they last? I'd worry the print would wear off, my crew is hard on tags! I've heard of Boomerang before, I'll have to check them out!!!!

Not double-sided, but less than $4/tag here (http://www.petsuppliesdelivered.com/single_product_display.cfm?id=20030708142455&).

I think I'm going to go with Boomerang tags - I like those really inexpensive ones, but I really want double sided, I like to put ALOT of info on my tags, such as 2 or 3 phone numbers, and medical alerts, etc.

I just ordered the plastic slide-on style for their collars. The thing that slips on to the collar seems like it may not hold up for very long though.

However, they were very fast to ship and they have some that are double sided.

I just ordered double-sided stainless steel engraved tags from www.tagxpress.com (http://www.tagxpress.com) today and I paid $19.90 USD total for 2 large ss tags, double-sided with 4 lines of information on the back. They have free shipping. I like boomerang tags for my cats' collars because they have the kind that slip on the nylon safe-cat collar so they're not jingling around and noisy! :D

I like the shiny chrome style tags.
If anything ever happened to Charlie (if he got out of the house or something), the shiny one serves as a reflector and might save his life.
