Right OK I am absolutely, totally fuming right now!! :swear:
The story goes like this, last Monday I have a phone call about an older puppy I have available (This is NOT an advert by the way!) I discuss the puppy with the lady for some time, ask her as many questions as she asks me, she gives me her home and mobile :blabla: numbers and arranges to call me Saturday to confirm she is coming on Sunday.
Last night she calls to confirm that YES she will be here, she is bringing her friend along who is interested in the second puppy I have available too! All fine, see you at 11!
I am up with the lark this morning, hastily cleaning around, yelling at the kids to keep the place tidy and to stay in their rooms. The dogs go unwalked, my Mum comes over to help out with the boys whilst these people are here.
11a.m no-one arrives, that's OK you can't control the traffic, 11:30 then 11:45 then midday!! I start getting worried that they may have been in an accident, held up in roadworks or got lost, so I call her mobile, it just rings and rings.
12:15 I call her home, no answer, 12:45 call her mobile, can't be put through comes the message, so I call her at home again and leave a message expressing my concern, 1:00, 1:15, 1:30 I am very worried by now so call her mobile again, cannot be put through, try again off my mobile same message, it is now 2:00pm she obviously isn't coming and I am about to take my poor Mum back home again.
What really gets me is that we gave up a trip out today to accommodate this lady, my Mum gave up her own time to come over and help me out, she could have had other things she wanted to do as well.
I accept that people change their minds and don't go to view puppies but surely to goodness it isn't that difficult to call the breeder and tell them they cannot make it, or that they have changed their minds??? That way we can get on with our day to day lives, our dogs can go for their long week-end walks instead of missing out, our kids can go to the park rather than spend the day trying (and failing :lol to keep the house tidy!!
I genuinely hope that nothing has happened to this lady and her friend, but surely to goodness one quick phonecall isn't that difficult??
