I don't know if I am allowed to post this here, but:
Is there anybody in Oregon, USA involved in rescue from this board?
It appears that there are several Cavaliers from a puppy mill bust in Oregon. There was only one listed to which I applied for in hopes of my mom driving down (4.5 hrs) to get him out, but now there are a bunch more, and who knows if more are coming in.
I'm currently working on seeing if there is any way that the shelter (which is a kill shelter, by the way) is interested in working with rescue, I've contacted Lucky Star, but I'm still wondering if there is anybody else out there?
I applied for this guy (who looks like he might have a splash of ET in him) but haven't heard anything back as of yet. It's distressing to log on and see a bunch more that are released, but I think this is because this case is a big court thing (the animals of the puppy mill were apparently starved and abandoned :( ) and the animal shelter/humane society is not allowed to put them up for adoption until legal filings have commenced of some sort..
