View Full Version : HOMED: Rocky: Male Tri, 4 years old

This fellow isn't getting enough attention with family all working and is in search of a new home. He is child, dog and cat friendly and housetrained and has been in an indoor home. Likes laps and beds. :) He will be neutered and chipped. He is a larger boy and would suit a family situation with older children (age 8+; he's probably a bit too lively for smaller kids) but does need an obedience class; he hasn't had any training and pulls hard on the lead but this is something a fun class would sort out very quickly.

Is this little boy in Ireland, Karlin?

Sorry, I meant to indicate location -- this is a dog with me at Irish Cavalier Rescue.

Rocky is staying with me until all his medical checks are done. He's booked in tomorrow with the vet.
He's a very lively, sweet and honest dog, without an ounce of fear or aggression.
He craves affection and company but as Karlin said, he would clearly benefit from some obedience classes.
He adores children and will play and chase bubbles for hours if let!
He would probably jump up on small children and be a bit too energetic for them.
He's a high octane sweetheart who would fit in very well with an active outdoor family.

Here's a great clip of him having fun in our back garden yesterday.
He's a great older kid's dog!

This was the clip of him taken 24 hours after his neuter. Daisy seems to have decided that she's top dog and gave him a hauling around the floor because he'd been wearing her leash! It gives a nice idea of his sweet nature.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: that is hilarious! Millie does exactly the same with her lead when we take it out to bring her for a walk. So funny to see Daisy shaking it like mad. Millie actually keeps the butt of the lead in her mouth while walking. Its like she's bringing herself for a walk!
How patient and calm is Rocky though?!! What a little pet - hope everything goes well for him :xfngr:
