I am wondering if anybody has an opinion on this.
Our Sonny has always had a really thick, luxuriant tail. I've been noticing this last month that it look much thinner, like maybe about 1/4 of its volume. He is not scratching, his coat looks healthy & shiny, as does the remaining hair of his tail and the skin of his tail (when I part the hair) loos very healthy. I really don't think he has any skin rash or anything like that, but am wondering if the hormonal shift caused by his neutering may be the cause.
I sure hope it grows in thick again. It was so gorgeous. I mean, up against other Cavaliers perhaps it looks just like an average tail, but it sure isn't his usual lovely tail.
