I ordered a new lead and some grooming accessories from www.worldpetstore.com (http://www.worldpetstore.com) about 2 weeks ago, and have since heard nothing. I paid for express postage which meant they should have been here withing 5 working days.

When my order confirmation came through, they said I would get an email confirmation also - I am still waiting for this.
Now I log onto their website and all I'm getting is the error message 'Page cannot be displayed' - like it never existed.
The last cached page on yahoo search is from 22.07.08.

Has anyone ever purchased from this site before and had any problems??

Hi Louise,
I'm sorry this has happened to you. I've never bought anything from that website but have a look at this: http://www.ripoffreport.com/searchresults.asp?q5=Worldpetstore&q1=ALL&q4=&q6=&q3=&q2=&q7=&searchtype=0&submit2=Search%21&Search=Search

oh no, that is awful :(

How big was your order?

I've never had that happen before, but it does sound like a nightmare. Sorry you're going through this

hmmm, Im not feeling very confident after reading those reviews on rippoffreport.com.
The order was about $60 - could have been alot more though.
Im going to cancel my credit card now I think - better to be safe then sorry.
If by some miracle the order is delivered - I will let you know!

Oh no!

It is so frustrating, but it's always wise to be really cautious with online sites and make sure they are legit -- not always easy, but there are so many scammers out there.

In Ireland, pet-bliss.com and Mollys.com both have nice leads etc, and I order a lot of things from zooplus.ie, which ships very fast from Germany. Dog Training Ireland also carry a range of leads and collars. Lots of nice boutique sites in the UK and US too!

It was a sporn double lead that I had ordered and I was really looking forward to getting it :(

Ah well, not to worry - as I said I could have spent alot more (and almost did before common sence kicked in :))

My credit card is cancelled, so even if they wanted to they can't do anymore damage..

You could claim it back from your bank. You may need to call the police for a crime number. Ask your bank. I'm sorry this has happened to you. I'm glad you have cancelled your card. The same thing happened to my son with a company called ticket-tout.com.
