• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

hiya everyone thought id join up and get to know more lil cavvies and there owners ive got a black and tan and his names junior hes dumb as but it all adds to his cuteness
 
Hi and welcome to Cavalier Talk . I think you'll learn quickly enough that Junior is anything but dumb. Cavaliers are extremely intelligent dogs so you should never underestimate their abilities ;) Look forward to seeing some pics.
 
Welcome! :) They can be a bit goofy and some can by flibbertygibbets but they all are pretty darn bright if you train using motivation and food rewards as they are so food motivated -- and also a gentle breed that will work very hard when full of enjoyment at the task. Did you know a couple of cavaliers are amongst the most rewarded dogs ever in the US in agility for example? Betsey Lynch's Trouble is an amazing dog as is a cavalier named Brix. There are some great training sites pinned at the top of the training section -- try some of the free training handouts you can read and/or download from those sites and I bet you'll see a new side to your fellow! :dogwlk:
