Hello,
This is a wonderful forum. I've recently lost my beautiful tri, Bailey. He was 12 years old. I knew I wouldn't have him for a life-time, but nothing prepared me for the shock and heartache.
He was a very healthy boy with no heart murmur, but he got cancer.
Dan is my ruby boy 12 and a half years and he misses him. He is in good health now, and I hope we will have him with us for a good while.
I know I have been very lucky to have two healthy boys - and I hope to get another cav in time. It is just so worrying to hear that there is such a high incidence of heart problems and this other problem SM.
I really don't want to change my breed. Cavs are just perfect for me, especially as I work from home and my cavs are so content with having me here. Well Dan is now.
Thanks for listening.
Mary
