Jack is a 7 year old Blenheim (chestnut and white) Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is being rehomed privately by his owner. Jack is in the North of Scotland - near Brora, 60 miles north of Inverness.
He needs a quiet home where someone is around most of the time. He would suit an older person who wants a dog who likes to sit and cuddle. He is OK with children but is a bit wary of them and so a child-free home would be best for Jack.
He is extremely affectionate and loves to cuddle - he puts his paws around your neck. He is easy to groom, and he is a good eater.
Jack walks nicely on the lead. He has an excellent recall and actually prefers to walk right next to you. He likes to chase toys that roll along the ground, but not thrown toys. He also likes cuddly toys.
He would be best not living with other male dogs but is fine with dogs away from the home. He would be fine with a spayed bitch, preferably a Cavalier, as he’s always lived with Cavaliers. He needs a cat-free home but he should be fine with other pets; he does not chase rabbits etc when out on walks.
Jack was orginally a stud dog, and went to live with his current owner almost 3 years ago. His owner says “Sadly my oldest Cavalier, who was leader of the pack, recently passed away, and the pack dynamics have changed dramatically. Jack and another boy, who have never really got along anyway, have now fallen out totally and I am having to break up fights between them. I am very worried that they are going to hurt each other. It is causing considerable stress. The other boy has several very serious medical issues, and the added stress is causing him further problems.”
Jack is neutered. He still has a clear heart. He does have dry eye, so is on Viscotears eye drops twice during the day, and Lacrilube at night.

I agree, he's beautiful. Fingers crossed he's not waiting long to go to his new home.
