Alfie went missing from his back garden yesterday
. It is thought that he was stolen.
He was spotted by traffic police on the M1 motorway yesterday and the traffic was stopped. Someone tried to catch him, but he got scared and run away. It would appear that he had been stolen and taken some distance, as he was spotted a few miles from his home.
If anyone knows anyone that works/lives in this area, please keep an eye out and spread the word if you could. The area is being postered and the local press are doing a story on him on Weds.
All dog wardens, kennels, police etc have been notified. Alfie isn't chipped. He is a much-loved pet of a forum member on It's A Spring Thing and we all feel so useless because we live so far away and can't physically get there to help search.
