Having tried out a few methods of transporting Bailey and Holly in the car I still havn't found one that I'm happy with. At the moment they sit on the back seat with roadie harnesses on but this isn't very practical for trips to the beach etc when we usually have back-seat passengers.

I tried them in the boot with the boot roof off and one of the back seats let down, I hook them securely onto little hooks attached to the boot, hard to explain but they were secure and had plenty of air. However this didn't suit me either as bailey kept popping his head up and they wouldn't really settle, I think there was too much going on as htey had ful view out the rear window.

Now I'm thinking of buying one of these: http://www.zooplus.ie/shop/dogs/dog_cages_carriers/crates/metal_dog_crates/129678

I could secure it in the boot, and let down one of the back seats so that they could see us. Just wanted to know if anybody had a similar crate and also do you think it would be a good idea to many clip them in aswel somehow?
