I was just cleared to start posting so here I am! My name is Wayne and my wifes name is Robin and out first little girls full name is Hirajuku Girl Yoko.....Yoko for short! She is a lovely blenheim and is just shy of seven months old. She is our pride and joy and is quite a character! We already have a sister on the way and we have named her Miko Princess of Darkness......Miko for short. She is black and tan and will take delivery on May 22nd as we will be on vacation and didn't want to abandon her for a week so soon. That will also give us a three day weekend to get aquainted! So Hello to everyone here and you have been a wealth of knowledge for finding reputable breeders and things to look out for!
Not sure how to attach a photo like I do in other boards so I will try to edit the post later so you can see your little girl!
:w**h**::w**h**:
Still not sure how to post a photo but did get her photo in my avatar! If someone can mentor me on attaching a photo that is on my computer please help!

Welcome. Aren't you lucky to soon be having two precious babies. Can't wait to see pictures of them. Judy

PS love the names....very unique.

Yea the names are kind of come from our love of music....I am a huge John Lennon fan and also a No Doubt fan. So Yoko comes from of course from John and Hirajuku Girl is a Gwen Stefani song.
Miko (which is a like a female prophet or a Shinto Temple guardian) and Princess of Darkness (my wife is a huge Ozzie Osburn fan) and the puppies grandfather was named Mound of Darkness. So anyway people think we are a little off taking a breed with British Isle backgrounds and giving them Japanese names....Well no one ever said we were normal!
My wife and I are in our mid 50's and people say we don't act our age!

I like the idea of naming pets after other things in our life that we enjoy. :) You will love having two cavaliers- we brought home our second one only 7 months after getting the first. They sure are amazing little dogs. :l*v:

HI
And wellcome to you from Merseyside I live in Prenton which is across the River Mersey from L/pool, we all look forward to loads of Photos of you and your babies.
Liverpool centre has changed so much over the last 4 Years ,I work for a specialist concrete formwork company and we have been the main sub contractor on some of the major redevelopments (the people who actualy build things , not the named main contarctors who get all the glory ) we completed four large floating pontoons ,2.500 m tonnes each ,which form the new Cruise Liner Terminal .we completed the new canal on the waterfront ,the new extension to Blue Coat Cambers and a self supporting elliptical concrete staircase in The New Museum of L/pool Life which is not yet open and many more projects .A couple of pics below showing some of the construction works are now finished.

HMS Ark Royal tied up to The Cruise Liner Berth ,when the big tourist ships come in you can step off straight into the City Centre

Hi & Welcome!

You just reminded me that I used to not believe Albuquerque was a place! When I worked in Quarantine someone called us & asked us to transport a dog & a cat there & I thought they were having a laugh with me as I thought it was just a name in a song!!!:shock:

Welcome!

Many eons ago my husband was working in Albuquerque, so I dragged my family out there for our marriage.

We have many fond memories of the area. Beautiful country!
