These babies are in shelters, not rescues from what I see. If anyone near them knows the closest rescue or would like to help them.

I just sent a note to our director @ Greater Chicago Cavalier Rescue & asked if she would contact the Naperville agency. Perhaps we can get him picked up & fostered.

I just received this reply from our director about the Naperville shelter:
"I spoke with the shelter's Director last week. She's the daughter of one of our adopters, and knows GCCR. Plus one of our volunteers stopped by and left cards, etc. The Director was quite pleasant in our conversation. She said they plan to place him on their own, but will call us if they have any problems."
So sounds like this one is under control or they will notify us. :o

oh good. Poor old guy. I wonder how he wound up in a shelter. It looks like they had to shave him. The ad says he is housetrained, too.

Jane, I was just about to contact Helen too but then I read your update :) (I'm a GCCR volunteer too) What a cutie, he has such a pretty face, he will be even more beautiful when his coat comes back!
