View Full Version : Free Prize Draw - For Cav Petition Signees

Good Morning All

Just an idea which I partly mentioned on the Petition Thread last night ,I would like to offer the people who have signed our Petion the chance of a fun free draw ,the idea being that people guess the total amount of signatures both on the duplicate Petition sites ie the one on CT and the other on the Go Petition website ,and the person who can guess the correct number or the nearest to it wins a free £20.00 voucher from me for P A H and for our members abroard I will find some means to transfer anywhere in the world the equivalent money amount in their currency

And for people who havent signed but would like to guess the number all they have to do is sign our Petition and then vote below and at closing time I will just ensure that the person with the winning number has duly signed.

Plus its a fun incentive to get more people to sign I hope and it keeps our little Petition in the limelight and of course tupup and I cannot enter and the winner will be notified on CT prompt after the Petition closure.

So come on whos first and to be fair on this draw mutiple Cav owners are allowed just one guess to equalise everybodys chance.

Good Luck and Thanks

tupup and brian:)

Well when you look on the post “How many cavaliers” the last count was 420 on this forum. So we should at least have that many.
My guess is 455.

I hope it be a lot more.

Brian/Tupup, I hope you know I'm only messing!
I am hopeless at guessing numbers, even at country fairs I never even attempt to guess the numbers of marbles or sweets in a jar .
But well done to both of you for having the drive to get behind this petition

Hi

Just to say we are all ready at Birkenhead Town Hall ,we have a staff of Three returning Offices ie Dawn ,Luke and me and Three adjudicators Popp,Daisy and Rosie six counting tables with a staff of 36 counters and security is provided by Group 4 ,so all we need now are the boxes which will soon be arriving by Bus,Coach ,Taxi ,747 and the odd Helicopter and even if needed being by the River Mersey HMS Cavcount the latest nuclear submarine .The clock is ticking .:)

Brian M
15th May 2009, 09:04 PM

Hi

And the total number of signatures for both Petitions for people only being counted as one is

193 and the winner is Jasperxxgabby who guessed 225

The winning number of 193 people who have signed on behalf of 240 Cavaliers ,so unlike some people on other sites thought we have counted as signatures people only ,its been a long and windy road and often very frustrating but best wishes to all who signed and viewed and we pet Cavalier owners have shown that we do care and our thoughts and wishes should be respected by Clubs and Breeders.

Thank You

brianm

J will pm you to ask when you are available to go to the Palace for the official prize giving.:)

That was quite a good turnout considering how little time you had to roll it out. You've done exceptionally well and we all appreciate the time and effort that you and Tupup put into this and I know this has been a very difficult week for you and your family and you still managed to make time to see your effort through to the end.
To Brian and Tupup and all our lovely cavaliers!!

Hello and Good Day

I feel a little lost today nothing to get stressed out for but I am sure something will soon come along and I bet tupup is the same.

Just to advise all Jasperxxgabby has refused the little prize for guessing the nearest winning number and she has suggested I spend it on Dawn or Luke or The Girls ,but it has been agreed with her Kind Wishes that the prize shall be forwarded on to Margaret's SM Fund ,I think this again demonstrates the wonderful people who populate Karlin's C T Website.

And with Karlin's name being mentioned we must extend our sincere thanks to her for providing the platform that we all use and get so much information and enjoyment from.:)

With Sincere Thanks
Dawn,Luke and brianm
Poppy ,Daisy and Rosie (who have been at the beauty parlour since 11.00 am for a shampoo and blow dry and are still there)

Well, I certainly second that. The people on this forum are wonderful.

Thank you all, especially Brian & Tupup for their really hard work. The information about the petition, and the numbers of pet owners that have signed has been sent to the Bateson Dog Breeding Inquiry, and I will send the names on to the Cavalier Club in time for next week's liaison meeting.

Thank you to jasperxxgabby for donating the prize money to the SM Cavalier Collection Scheme. It really is very kind of you.
( The second little cavalier on the scheme has just died and been donated for postmortem, I will post more tomorrow on the eBay thread )
