• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

Mounting at 9 weeks?

Normal. Puppies will rehearse all adult behaviours regardless of whether it has any adult meaning.
 
I think for the most part it's something they grow out of (at least if they are neutered). Our Golden Retriever did it for quite awhile but they act like puppies for about three years. I might be wrong but both Zeus and Max tended to do it when they got overexcited. Max does still does it now and then (he's 8 months) but he's easily redirected. Zeus (retriever) was not that easy to redirect and he did it for a couple of years - more to people than inanimate objects. He grew out of it eventually though.
