Has anyone tried either the doggles step in harness or comfort dog harness? Zoe grew out of her harness and am trying to find something more long term. I like how the doggles harnesses look but can't find any reviews on them, I am especially interested in the step in because that style worked well for her before. Has anyone tried them? Or should I stick with Puppia? (how do the puppias hold up in the heat, they seam like they have a lot of fabric)
Thanks,
Osanna and Zoe

I'm Puppia hater! I've heard too many stories of the catches breaking and dog running off.

These Doggles (http://www.doggles.com/stepin_harness.html) look good, not sure about the ones with angel wings

I love the Up Country step in harnesses and they have so many great patterns to choose from http://upcountryinc.com/. I also like Douglas Paquette https://www.douglaspaquette.com/miva/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY&Store_Code=DPI&Category_Code=PA_COLLARS2007

I have a harness EXACTLY like that for both my guys, but the brand name was "mutt gear" ... maybe they changed the name, but I swear it is the same one otherwise ... reflective trim, same colors, same material, and the car restraint.

I LOVE those harnesses. If they are the same one, I think you will be very happy.

EDITED TO ADD ... just looked at the site further ... these (http://www.doggles.com/stepin_harness.html) are on the Doggles site but it does say "mutt gear" so they are the same ones I have and I love them. I give them 5 of 5 stars!! :)

Thank you, I never looked at the company website, the pictures are so much better at www.simplysmitten.com
Lani, what size do you have? Zoe is on the large size, around 22 lbs (10kgs give or take). They look really adjustable so I think I just need to be in the ballpark.

Thank you for the other recommendations, I love all the pattern options at Up Country!

Lucky is 20-21 lbs, and takes a small ... plenty of room to adjust bigger. Sparky's 15 lbs and also takes a small.

Both my dogs have buddy belt step in harnesses after trying several and I will not buy another harness for them. I had used the Holt harness successfully but it's a bit complex (and not pretty:D). As a young pup Max's Puppia clip broke so he was the first to get the Buddy Belt. I kept Mindy in the Puppia until she just stepped out of it twice in a row - the first time I thought maybe I needed to tighten something or hadn't put it on right (which is the only reason I tried again). Both my dogs are decent walkers and not squirmers or pullers so if they could have that problem I would think any dog could.
