View Full Version : Ferplast Ergocomfort harness

Does anyone have the Ferplast Ergocomfort harness?

They look quite comfortable for the dog, but I was wondering how easy they are to get on and off.

It needs to be something that doesn't have to be pulled over the ears, so thought this might be good.

Hi Nicki

Not far from me there is a large pet shop called "Water World" and they had these in stock so now at the weekend I shall go back and try one as I am not happy with the Rogtz:confused: one Lily has on and I dont like the pull over head ones like Puppia or the Fleece (I wish the Fleece people would do a step in one ) type so I am on the look out for 4 step in red quality harness,plus if they are in stock it saves messing with post and then returning them if they dont fit.:) So will let you know Nicki but they did look nice.:)

Thanks very much - it will be interesting to see what you think of it "in the flesh"

Another alternative might be these ones

There's a similar one in red here

{but I have no experience with that stockist}

I had these before for my boys and they were very comfortable in them.

BTW the fleece harness people do make a "perfect fit" harness which has neck clips too, so you don't have to pull it over their heads...

Unfortunately my lot are in and out of the water a lot so those are not practical for us :mad:

Petmeds are doing it for 18.40 - the cheapest I've seen so far...

I have one of these harnesses. It doesn't have to be pulled over the head as the whole thing comes undone and is extremely easy to adjust. I have the small size and its quite just big enough for Dylan who is 9kg. I've only used it a couple of times so I'm not sure how hardwearing it is regarding the clasps.

I can get these in. They are expensive though about EUR40 is that right? If anyone wants one shipped just email me tara@dogtrainingireland.ie

Actually I like them will check the price and upload them to our shop now

Hope this helps!

ok I have uploaded them but I can only get sizes small medium and large although I am not sure that cavaliers would be xs or small I think small. I can ship anywhere.

Starting at EUR25 and right now can only get orange..will be able to get grey and red too in couple days.

Hi Nicki

First of all hope you had a sunny blue skies rain free holiday but I bet its almost all forgotten by now ,also I did post some introductory pics of Lily on your Spaniel forum in the Cavalier section .

I did get a Fermaplast harness for Lily at a cost of 23.00 ,and it fits fine as its so adjustable ,it looks good on her and she doesnt object in any way to wearing having it on but it is a bit fiddly to put on ,also you have to be a bit careful when adjusting because it has a tendancy to trap some coat in the adjusters so you have to be a bit careful . So overall I might get some more for the other girls but they do take longer to put on so if you have 4 Cavaliers and your not in any rush to go out then thumbs up .I will try and get a clear pic of Lily with her harness on and post it .

Thanks and Best Wishes

Thanks Brian - sounds like it might be a bit too fiddly for me then :( {have a few problems with my hands - and lots of Cavaliers!!}

Thanks for posting on the ST forum about Lily - will pm you
