• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

Abigail has been sick!

Starting last Tuesday during the night, Abigail has been sick from a stomach infection. She kept us up that night, Wednesday and Thursday night crying. Naturally it was a holiday on Thursday:( so vet wasn't open. We didn't think she needed emergency care since she had only a little problem with loose poo and vomiting.Friday left her at vet for xrays, blood work and they discivered an infection and started her on antibiotics and gave us some for 7 days plus special food.

Thankfully today she has a little more energy. We can't figure out what caused infection unless she ate something in the yard and that had something bad in it. We are going to quit feeding the birds as vet said that can cause major problems if she eats bird seed.

So sorry to read about poor Abigail - that must have been a real worry for you and what a time for her to get sick eh!. Glad to hear that she is feeling better now though :lotsaluv: :hug:
 
Abigail seems to be getting better ; still on meds and special diet. However, she has started waking us up at 5:15 AM.:eek: Doesn't really have to go out and we are trying to figure if paper delivery is culprit ( though she didn't do this before she was ill).

Thanks for your thoughts! Yes, something usually happens on a holiday or the weekend:rolleyes:
