Warning: Claire Simmons the convicted felon who goes by several aliases and kennel names, and sells cavalier puppies from Washington state area but also can seem to be located in other jurisdictions, has yet again changed her name on her online ads (on many of the puppy sites online) and may be advertising as ESSEX CAVALIERS. She is using this name in her emails.

She was convicted after being prosecuted by the US Dept of Justice for FRAUD.

NB There may be other breeders using the term name 'essex' -- as always do full research, ask appropriate questions, and DO NOT BUY from ANY breeder who cannot produce heart certs from a *cardiologist*, ideally MRI scan results, does not do proper health testing for other issues like patellas, hips, eyes; who cannot discuss the health history of several generations of their dogs (not anecdotal history but from test-based evidence!!!). If the breeder only seems to breed for a puppy market -- beware!
 
For legal reasons I don't want to provide a direct link but yes, she is actively using this name and has a website now offering puppies from Boise under this name.
