Here is my fav:

She is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are her life, her love, her leader. She will be yours, faithful and true ‘til the last beat of her heart. You owe it to her to be worthy of such devotion. (unknown poet)

Sabby, your quote must be Jasper`s favourite. he spends his life laying like your dog, but not in his dog bed but on a blanket in the best chair in the house in front of the TV.:D

"A home without a dog is just a house"

"Cavaliers are like chocolates - If you have one you can't stop!"

"I asked God for a best friend and he sent me a cavalier king Charles spaniel"

Before you decide to take me home,
This warning I must impart,
I will dig up your garden,
Chew up your house,
And then I will steal your heart.

All lovely photos and quotes but I just love this photo

My favourite dog quote is the doggies prayer:

A master who is firm and kind
and understands a doggie mind.
A walkie and a meal each day
That's all I ask for
when I pray.

19th January 2010, 03:45 PM
Love that prayer Claire, it's the first time I have heard it. I wonder if everyone could add their own verse? Here is mine,

Some liver and lung,
and a day in the park is fun.
A sweet belly scratch
and a place on the matt.
For my Cavaliers, that's where it's at.

Oh, that one is just SO TRUE! It's like with me and my beautiful boy Fjalar - I definitely do NOT own him, that's for sure, he owns me 150%! : )
