more cavs :(

http://webzoom.freewebs.com/manytearsrescue/Dogs10/Magnet-Cav-21-01-10b.jpg

21-01-10 Magnet has just melted my heart so I am sure he is going to melt yours too, what a sweet little diamond!! Magnet is a 3 month old male Cav puppy. The wound you can see around his eye is actually Ring Worm, this can be and we now are treating. Is is easily treated and should totally clear with the treatment, however while he still has Ring Worm and until the treatment is complete poor little Magnet will have to be isolated to avoid spreading the infection. Magnet is like any puppy very happy, loving and wants to be taught lots of new things but mainly wants to be brought up in a loving home. This puppy desperately wants to get into a home where he explore and be brought up in the loving home any dog needs!!

http://webzoom.freewebs.com/manytearsrescue/Dogs10/Madrid-Cav-21-01-10b.jpg

21-01-10 Madrid is a 4 year old ex breeding cav and a very sweet one at that! Madrid is a lot braver than most cav's we have here and offers you her paw when you approach her. She is desperate for someone to teach her that everything will be and is OK. Madrid is a little worried and concerned with what is happening with her and we are doing our best to comfort and reassure her that everything is for the best! I have no doubt that who ever gives this girl a loving home, with be more than happy and will see her character start to develop as she gets more confident with her environment. I can see this little girl developing into a busy active girl but at the same time being very pleasant to be with and happy to relax with lots of love and cuddles!

http://webzoom.freewebs.com/manytearsrescue/Dogs10/Michigan-Cav-21-01-10b.jpg

21-01-10 Michigan is a sweet little ex breeding cav. She is 4 years young and has a lot to give in her life. She is a very happy girl and her tail has not stopped wagging from me taking her out of her cage and asking her to pose for a picture and then groomed and taken to her kennel. Although at times she seemed very worried I could tell it was more she didn't understand as all the time her tail did not stop wagging. This I feel proves how honest and loyal dogs like her are. Defiantly a girl who will mend someone's broken heart!!

http://webzoom.freewebs.com/manytearsrescue/Dogs10/Monico-Cav-21-01-10.jpg

21-01-10 Monico is a lovely 5year old male ex stud cav who would love to sit and cuddle all day long. There is nothing better in his life than a humans love and affection and this is all he wanted from me and as long as I was happy to give him it he was a happy man! He was also interested to explore and take lead from me learning and soaking up the new environment. Monico would love you just as much as you are willing to love him back and would really benefit from someone who has time and love to give and another dog to be his friend.

http://webzoom.freewebs.com/manytearsrescue/Dogs10/Marble-Cav-21-01-10.jpg

21-01-10 Marble is a 5 year old male ex stud cav. He is very nervous when first approaching but happy to line up for cuddles and fuss once you have introduced yourself properly. He is very reliant on his friends and his character starts to come through a lot more when you see him with another dog, so this would obviously be a thing we required for our little Marble. I can see him defiantly turning into a very loving gentleman who will sway the ladies with his looks and charm!

http://webzoom.freewebs.com/manytearsrescue/Dogs10/Malta-Cav-21-01-10.jpg

21-01-10 Malta is a very stunning big ex breeding Cav. She is very pretty!! When first meeting Malta any sudden movements and placing my hand over and around her head made her very worried and nervous. However, I feel and saw in Malta that once she learns to trust she will realise that us humans are there to love and cuddle and she will be a very happy little girl. She has a lot of interest in the environment and wanted to explore are and see where she was. Such a sweet girl and will defiantly leave big foot prints in someone's life!

I sure wish I was closer, as I'd love to adopt...I can't tell you how amazed I am at how many Cavaliers need homes where you are. Where I am you would never find one at a rescue and breeders always have long waiting lists, that's if you can even qualify to get on one. It's a torment for me to read about all these dogs and not be able to respond. Good luck in finding them all happy homes.

That's true for most Rescues in the UK too Marjorie, but Many Tears (located in West Wales) is rather different from some other rescues in that they take in very many ex-breeding bitches and ex-stud dogs from local puppy farms. There is a very big problem with puppy farms in Wales, where farmers were once encouraged to diversify through financial support which enabled them to become puppy farmers if they chose to.

Many Tears decision to do this is controversial in some quarters, where there is a feeling that they may be encouraging said puppy farmers to "offload" unwanted animals and then stock up again with new ones, but the people who run Many Tears take the view that most of these dogs would either be euthanazed or, even worse, simply abandoned if they did not help them. It's a very thorny problem!

Karlin posted a "sticky" on this very subject recently at
http://www.cavaliertalk.com/forums/showthread.php?33374-Many-Tears-cavaliers

I'm sure everyone on this Forum is concerned as much as I am to see quite so many Cavaliers coming through Many Tears at the moment. Is this the start of the "big offload" post AGPAW and Bateson do you think?

I have been following the threads about the dogs at Many Tears, I recently took Dotty, at this point I believe all of the Cavaliers
had been homed. I am really disappointed and very sad to see so many poor little souls that look so sad in rescue again. I suppose we should be grateful
they are out of the Puppy Farms and at least stand a chance of a happy life! I wish this cruelty could be stopped!
