This is really good news that just appeared on Clare Rusbridge's website and the genome studies are continuing.

Genome wide linkage studies identifies a novel locus for Syringomyelia associated with Chiari Malformation in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel.

NEWS SM/CM GENOME STUDIES.

Does this mean that for Cavalier Breeders ,when this Genome Research for SM/CM is Finalised ,all that will be being needed is a Blood Sample taken from their Cavalier Breeding Stock to discover whether their Breeding Stock has the SM/CM Gene?
