today Sienna tested the Hurtta Windstopper overall, which a friend of ours brought back from Finland.:D

it it the perfect fit, warm, water repellant and windproof!
now my little angel can run around in the snow and icy wind without being cold and having aching joints (at least not from the cold..)

That is a nice coat, and whoever drafted the pattern for it understands dogs.

She looks so cute. :lotsaluv:
My dog has an older model of the hurtta fleece overall (size 303). However she uses it mainly in the car or when she's waiting between agility courses because she doesn't really like to walk or move when it's on her).
What size is yours? It looks like it fits her very well. :)

it's size 321, fit well for sienna and bella, who are small. frida needs 381, kandis 352.

Thank you. I've already tried 321 and 353 in the older fleece overall model: http://www.alttilhundogkat.dk/hurtta-pro-fleece-overall.6 None of them fit. The first one is too small the sekond one too big  I'm afraid 352 is too small.

Thank you.

Yes, it's freezing cold here too. Do you live in DK? (I do). I just wondered that you bought the overalls in Finnland. (But maybe it's because of your friend). :)

Merry Christmas

i live in Frederiksværk :)

the Hurtta products are so expensive in DK, and Marianne who participated in the Nordic Freestyle Championship in Finland 2 weeks ago bought one for sienna, at ½ price. she became aquainted with one of the Hurtta- people, who is so very kind to send me 3 more, same price..

thank you very much for the picture renate (i know the thread is from 2010, but I have to say thx ;) ) !!!
With the help of the picture I decided to try the 321 (after trying 352 which was a bit to small) and it fits really well.
So happy with that overall :mexwav:

That's a lovely looking coat. I would love to have one for Tess, not so much because of the cold (although it is quite chilly here right now) but to keep the burrs and seeds and twigs off her feathers when we go to rural areas. She always comes home covered in them....

How much does your dog weigh? Mine weighs 20 pounds (9.07 kg). I'm having trouble choosing a size for her.

My little girl is a lightweight with 14 pounds (~6,5 kgs).
I could help you with finding the right size for your girl.
How long is she? (pls measure from the middle of her scapulas to the beginning of the tail)
If you only would like to have it to protect the coat, there are other nice overalls.
This one is not so soft. I think this one is for really cold or cold and wet days.
And of course snow ... to protect the coat from snowballs in the coat ;)

Hi

We bought last year 4 No Hurtta Pro Waterproof Fleece Jackets but so far they have worn them four times as they are fine for cold snowy weather but we hardly get any living here.Oh well
they are here as and when needed and they do cover all along their tummy .
