Foster needed: male in Longford

Got a call this morning for help from Longford. Not sure of age; he is not neutered, dog-friendly and happy! Urgently needs a foster while we build him back up and then get a neuter. Sounds like he escaped from a bad situation:


"It’s an older male, entire, and she says he is under weight, filthy and his collar has a metal hook which looks like he was tied up by. He is in good form, eating and drinking and gets on fine with her two dogs."

If you're stuck & can't get anything sorted closer to home I will take. Will have to get him neutered en-route though as Willow in heat [spay cancelled yet again - don't ask!!!]

Thanks Allie but that likely won't work. He may be too underweight for a neuter at this time; also not sure yet what 'older' means. or his health overall and until I get him in foster I can't get any info. I wouldn't neuter an older dog with for example a heart murmur.
