Spaniel bowls popular with non-spaniel!

You can't make this stuff up.

Our son and his wife are moved to our city two weeks ago, and currently are living with us until they find a suitable place to rent. They also brought their 8 month-old, :luv: 60-lb. (27.2 kg) LabraMutt puppy with them. She has her own water bowl, as you can see in the photo, but she refuses to drink from it in our house. They've given up on even putting water in it anymore. Instead, she uses (and promptly empties each time) our little Sophie's puppy-size Spaniel Bowl. Go figure. I've already sent a picture of this to Cindy Koehring, who makes the bowls http://spanielbowls.com/, to tell her just how popular her puppy-size spaniel bowl has become in our home.

I thought I would share it here, too, for your daily giggle.
Here you go:

This pic made me smile so much- our 30 kg retriever always squeezes herself into the smallest bed available- it really belongs to Tilly, my 8 kg cavalier rescue girl. I will try and get a pic and put it up.

How funny! I also have Spaniel Bowls for my Cavaliers and it never fails, my fiance's English Bulldog, chooses these to try to squish his big face in to get a drink of water -- we have several regular bowls out for him! Which means I am constantly emptying and refilling bowls because the Cavaliers don't want to drink after him because he drools in the water! Yuck!

I have always wondered why dogs like to drink out of the same bowl. Chamberlain only drinks out of his bowl if Sasha has drained hers. Even as a puppy he only drank out of her bowl, never his own!

That is funny. He can barely fit his big nose into that little bowl. Thanks for the laugh on this very snowy day in Michigan!
