• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). As long as you recall your old login name, you can log in with that user name then select 'forgot password' and the board will email you at your registration email, to let you reset your password.

We have just got a 10 week old Cavalier Puppy called Monty, all is well and we thought we had him in a routine which worked very well his first poop being just after 7am, the last couple of days have seen him poop before we get up, any ideas?
 
Takes a couple of months to get them fully trained. Some pick it up quickly others take longer. Buy loads of kitchen towel and disinfectant!
 
Is your puppy kept in a crate during the night? If not, I recommend it as a good way to housetrain. Make sure the crate is not too large. We have always crated dogs until they are house-trained, especially at night, and literally carry them outdoors upon arising for the first month or two so that there is no chance of an accident. I've never had one poop in the crate.
