• If you're a past member of the board, but can't recall your password any more, you don't need to set up a new account (unless you wish to). Thickening of stifle?

Whilst I was in hospital, Lauren was limping and Trevor took her to the vets.

She was put on Metacam for two weeks.

I now have her clinical history, and it mentions a thickening of the bone of the middle of the back of the stifle?

I don't really understand what's going on - there are a few possibilities [osteoarthritis; Cranial cruciate ligament issues; Osteochondritis dissecans] but she needs an x-ray to find out. She seems quite happy and is running about, but I think it might mean issues in the future.

Does anyone have any experience of this please?

I had a Westie who had a Cranial cruciate ligament repair in the past - but other than that

my knowledge is limited :(
