Hello to everyone. We are anxiously awaiting our new little girl to come home with us in late May. We lost our precious black cocker spaniel, Dakota, last May after 14 wonderful years. After much research we decided a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was the breed for us.

Tulie is just three weeks old but we have already met her and her sister and struggled not to commit to bringing both home with us. My wife and I have already read numerous threads on the board and look forward to getting to know everyone better while we share and learn together.

Welcome to Cavalier Talk. I bet you are very, very excited. Looking forward to pictures of your new baby.

I'm Cindy and I have Claire, a Ruby. Tell us more about Tulie.
How did you find her, etc.

Tulie is a ruby.
We were very fortunate to find a reputable breeder at a dog show we recently attended. Since meeting her, we have attended another show in which the breeder entered two dogs. After the show we attended an event at her house where many of the other participants of the show brought their Cavaliers. My wife and I were in heaven. We will go back in a couple weeks to decide which precious puppy will come home forever.

I'm trying to learn the process of uploading photos, so here goes.

Welcome!
You'll find Cavalier's truly are little angels. :) And this is a great, GREAT forum! There are so many people that are kind, helpful with any questions you may have, and also very educated about this amazing little breed!
Can't wait to see pictures of little Tulie! (love that name!)

There is a whole section here at the board that has a list of questions to ask your breeder about health testing of the parents of your 'puppy' to be.

I hope you'll take the time to read it and feel confident in your purchase after the answers.

Welcome again to Cavalier Talk
