eating cherries?

The cheery tree in our back garden has started to fruit, and I noticed the other day that Dusty was chomping on quite a few of them.sounded like she was chomping on the pit too  She seems fine and thier seem to be no affects on her for eating them.

are cherries poisenous?like grapes.

It would be virtually impossiblle to pick up all the cherries as thier woud be thousands of them, she doesnt seem to be eating them all, just a few and then stops.

Should I be overly concerned?

In a word, yes!

Pits of stone fruit contain low levels of cyanide (as do apple seeds). A seed now and again isn't going to harm, but it is best if she doesn't have any at all and in quantity could be very harmful.
