I find it hard to write about this sweet girl without letting my anger spill out onto the page. Sally is a mature King Charles Spaniel who has been discarded by her breeder as he " had no further use for her" ( his words). This particular breeder is well known in this area for breeding poor quality dogs and keeping them in appalling conditions. Several people I have spoken to have paid this man money simply to try and rescue the dogs from a bad situation which, of course, is still lining his pocket with cash so, if itís possible, please walk away and notify your local dog rescue who will try to help. Sally is almost 10 years old and has been kept as a breeding machine for most of those years. She is totally bewildered by most things and is just the sweetest, kindest girl you could meet. Thereís not a bad bone in her body, so we are looking for a very special foster home for her where she can live out her days in comfort. Sally is in good health but 10 years old is getting on a bit for this breed so MADRA are prepared to fund any health expenses she may have for the rest of her days. She is fantastic with other dogs and just adores any affection she gets from humans.

Oh heartbreaking. I'm sorely tempted but sure they'd want someone closer to Galway. My poodle was an ex-breeding bitch and it still fills me with joy to see the happy, playful dog she has become [and always meant to be].

Fantastic news. I hope the rest of her years are full of the joy and happiness she so deserves. Poor thing.

That's brilliant, she looks goregous and deserves a great home to spend the rest of her days in the comfort she should have had from puppyhood. :lotsaluv:
