Sprinkles and Lexie's graduations!

Both of my babies graduated from their classes a week apart. My princess pup Lexie (2 years) graduated for the very first time from intermediate! (She tested out of beginner so this was her first class). She did amazing but isn't as much of a people pleaser as Sprinkles is. This was one of the reasons it took me so long to get Lex into training. At 2 she's only 8 pounds and really laid back. She really didn't have much "need" for training like her younger partner in crime did lol. I ultimately put her in though just so that I'd have something to do with her one on one every week. If anything she LOVED the extra attention she got.

Then of course my baby dog Sprinkles (11 months) graduated from her advanced class! As many of you have read, Sprinkles HAD to be put into training due to being so reactive. She is now ready to take her CGC although I want to work on supervised separation a little more before it's testing time. She has been invited to an invitation only Advanced 2 class starting in August. I'm so proud of my baby girl!

Congradulations to all three of you!!!! Great photos thanks so much for sharing them!

Congrats, what cute little things!!! I love them in those hats!

Out of curiosity, what is CGC? I don't think we have that here in Australia :)

Congrats to Lexie and Sprinkles!

I also need to work on the supervised separation with Chamberalin. More like plain old separation, as he is a little too attached to me!

haha Thanks everyone!! I'm a proud Momma!

Lexie and Sprinkles both have some attachment issues. I am really fortunate that the lady who is giving us our CGC has been Sprink's trainer since she was 5 months old... so she does know her and loves her to pieces. The problem comes in when I leave the room. Both Sprinkles and Lexie panic. We've done a million practice CGC's and Sprinkles passes EVERY section with flying colors... except separation. It's a little frustrating but we're working on it! Lexie still needs to work on heel a little as well but she's only just now going into advanced so she has a while to work.
