I am going to buy some to help with Brooklyn's grooming. But I don't know if I should get double sided or single sided thinning scissors. Does any one have an experience with this or know the answer? I don't even know the difference between the two.

You want double sided - about 44 or 46 teeth. I love mine - Geib buttercut thinners - but they were pricey. Dubl Duck makes a good pair that are less expensive. I wouldn't recommend anything lesser - it makes a huge difference to have good shears.

On a side note...how do you use yours Pat? I am planning on using on the thick long feathers around the bum/hind leg area. Just curious how other use them too :) I am excited to get a pair, I think it will be worth the investment!
