I've just been reading the April Cavaliers as Companions page on the Cavalier Club website. It has a bit about Petzlife dental products and notes that Cavalier owners get a 10% discount, and 5% of each sale goes to Ruperts Fund. I guess someone at Petzlife has a Cavalier! If you want to support them, go to the petzlife website to buy, and at the check-out give the discount reference CAV12.

Thank you to Brian for arranging this discount, which is great.

However we will shortly be stocking the Petzlife products in the Cavalier Gift shop, at a very competitive price, with ALL the profits going to Cavalier matters [supporting Rupert's Fund, the Cavalier Collection Scheme and Rescue]

We all welcome any retailer who wants to make a generous contribution to Rupert's Fund. :)

However please have retailers contact Nicki directly to set this up, so we can be sure there is actually some system in place for donations to come to RF and of course so that Rupert's Fund knows there is even such a scheme in the first place. There was no awareness at our end that anyone at this retailer was intending to make donations and some confusion all around.

We really can't have the fund name associated with anything that pushes people to make purchases if there isn't a clear and legitimate arrangement in place directly between Rupert's Fund and the retailer as otherwise the name could be used to get sales when there's no intention to give a donation. We need to be sure such associations are totally above board.

There is as Nicki notes, a direct arrangement now in place with Cavalier Matters in the shop so people can buy there at a good price and also donate via their purchase directly to Rupert's Fund for this popular product. :D
