View Full Version : TRPD - goodies for your doglets!!

13th March 2005, 05:21 PM
If you are looking for goodies for your doglets, such as blankets, harnesses, leads, collars, coats etc, please consider:

Photos and details of the items available are shown under Links, Project's forum.

The aim of the project is to explore the area of voluntary animal rescue work and support. To assist animal rescue charities, groups and individual
volunteers; share ideas and resources and encourage others to do the same.

The proceeds from the sale of items are then used to make goods to donate to the rescues. :D

They will even make items to your own specification if possible.

Thought I'd show you some of the TRPD goodies:

Rupert with his new blanket

Peaches new coat - Rupert's very relieved he's not got one to match!! :D

Peaches' blanket, and her collar and lead - she's a pink kind of girl icon_banana She apologises for not looking terribly elegant in the photo!

Giggle.. elegant indeed. That's a very pretty coat... now to find a nice US site like that!

Love the pictures!!! Peache's blanket collar and lead are beautiful. So rich looking. I'm saving my $'s for the Atlanta show, but I'll save the website for future uses. I like to buy from websites like this :)

I love Peaches' coat. What pretty colors.

How is she doing?

Thanks Cathy - she's doing really well. Her leg still turns out when she wees, but I think that may be habit. She's going in on Saturday to have her stitches out, so will check with them then.

Peaches has been very good at leaving her stitches alone, so hasn't had to wear the lamshade over the last few days icon_banana One of us is usually within sight just in case!!

The main problem we're having is that she's still very colicky - desperate to get out and eat grass, but doesn't usually bring it back up, really gurgly tummy. I try to get a Denes gastric tablet down here, and if I can persuade her to eat a dog biscuit {the only time she needs persuading :) } she's usually fine within an hour or so.

I managed to get some live yoghurt today, so will give her that, also some slippery elm {tree bark powder} capsules - my next "thing" to try! I tired the burnt toast trick but that didn't work.

Has anyone else had this with their Cavaliers? Did you find a way of solving it?

Glad everyone liked her new coat - hubby is flatly refusing to walk her in it!!! I just love it :D

They do still have some of that fabric left for coats - not sure if they will post direct to the USA, but may be worth asking. Otherwise I would be quite willing to arrange for items to be sent to me and I'll send them on.
